The project prepared more than 20 normative acts, job descriptions and local protocols. These documents will govern the relationship between narcology, TB dispensary, AIDS Center, STI clinics and public organizations. Regulatory framework regulates the process of forwarding addicts among professionals to provide comprehensive care. It includes features of diagnosis, description of procedures for possible treatment of related diseases and infections under supervision narrow specialists.

We are talking about a wide range of services, from providing funds for the care of wounds and sterile equipment to test and diagnose patients for HIV, tuberculosis, hepatitis, skin and venereal diseases.

Before the development of these documents in the regional drug treatment clinic was conducted a comprehensive study and evaluation of the list and the availability of medical services for patients according to international standards. The results of studies and expert advice were provided to leadership of institution and were taken into account in the development of updated documents.

At the moment, the updated regulations, job descriptions and local protocols are peer reviewed. After analysis and corrective action complete package of documents will be sent for approval to the General Directorate of Health Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
